In version 0.6 of the Kirki Customizer plugin we added some new controls: Sortable, Toggle and Switch
Sortable:
The sortable control allows you to add multiple options, enable/disable them, and re-order them anyway you want.
Toggle & Switch
Toggles and switches are not different controls. They are checkboxes and you can set them by adding 'mode' => 'toggle'
or 'mode' => 'switch'
to the field’s definition.
In addition to the above many improvements and bugfixes were also applied.
The most noteworthy changes are:
• Fix: Tooltips now properly working
• New: Added checkbox switches
• New: Added checkbox toggles
• Fix: Generated CSS is not properly combined & minified
• Fix: Re-structuring files hierarchy
• Fix: Simplify the way controls are loaded
• New: Only load control classes when they are needed
• New: Introducing Kirki_Customize_Control class
• Fix: CSS tweaks
• New: Sortable control (creating one is identical to a select control, but with ‘type’ => ‘sortable’)
• Fix: Double output CSS (props @agusmu)
• New: Google fonts now parsed from a json file.
We’ve got more updates coming in the future for Kirki so stay tuned!
